The slice is called 4A and is from an adult thoroughbred (TB) with a normal foot but with some seedy toe. 

It comes in 2 different variants- hand coloured or plain, ready to paint

The painted models are pretty robust to handling and enjoying. However don't chuck it in your tool box as rasps and knives will damage it.  Treat it with care. It has 2 layers of clear finish to protect it.

STUNNING SLICE!

I received my slice today, I am so happy with it. Great educational tool. Great buy!. The additional resources are incredibly helpful, the photos are gorgeous, there are also videos with great information. Great job Lindsey, anyone that gets one of these will be super excited. Cheers JC

I’m absolutely delighted you took the time to place a review of the slice. I’m absolutely convinced these slices are an important part of educating us all on the anatomy of the horse foot. Maybe I’m biased but there is nothing else out there like this in terms of the whole package so I created it The casting itself is Prof Pollitts idea.

Brilliant

I received my eagerly anticipated package of the polyurethane slice - A4 today…and what an experience it was to open it. The additional resources was easy to download with informative and well presented series of high resolution images and videos. Thank you very much for this brilliant piece of work.
