A set of 2 polyurethane slices from a cast from a processed real horses foot. Together with a video where prof Chris Pollitt and I discuss the foundered slice and the history behind the poor mare that was euthanised due to founder.
One of the slices is from a normal foot and the other from a horse with founder.
These are made to order meaning Ill need 1 week to create your pieces then they will be shipped to you.
Please note that these are available in 3 different finishes: Steel, copper or unpainted. Please be sure to tick the colour finish you want.
The steel and copper effects take days to create as thin glazes of paint are applied to create the amazing effect. It highlights all the tissues within the foot.
The unpainted will have a coat of white primer ready for you to paint. If you use spray paint you will not get the intricate details you see if you apply by layering.
These models are highly detailed and pretty robust to handling and enjoying. However don't chuck it in your tool box as rasps and knives will damage it.
